This Let's Go 2 berth is built for couples who want comfort on the road. You get a toilet and shower, plus heating and air-con when you're plugged into mains power at a caravan park.

Live in it for a week, a month, or a long weekend — the Atlas handles all of it. The sleeping and storage work well even after day five, which is when cheaper vans start feeling cramped.

It comes with solar panels, but don't rely on them. They only trickle-charge the 12V house battery, so you'll need mains power or a generator for real comfort.

If you've never hired a campervan before, this is the one to start with. It's roomy enough to feel like glamping, not camping.

One thing to watch: these vans are twice the height and length of a sedan. Check for height signs at low-level crossings and car parks, and watch for tree branches that might be in your way.

Before you return it, book your last night at a caravan park or campground with a dump point and hose. You'll need to empty the toilet cassette and refill the freshwater tank before heading back to the depot.
