Derwent - 6 berth Campervan

Please note: GoCheap sources vehicles for this category from several different vehicle manufacturers. The images, and layouts shown should be used as a guide only. Specific vehicle styles, layout configurations and interior design may vary to that shown.

Enjoy comfort and affordability with the Go Cheap 6 Berth Derwent. There is plenty of space for everyone with two distinct living areas and 3 double beds. A fully equipped kitchen and all linen included ensures everything you need for a stressfree adventure.

Jack's take

The Go Cheap Derwent gives you serious space at budget prices. This 6-berth vehicle works well for groups of 4-6 people or families with more than two kids who want room to spread out without breaking the bank.

The standout feature is the separate toilet and shower — something you don't always get at this price point. This makes a real difference on longer trips and saves you hassle when cleaning the van at the end of your hire.

With all this interior space, the Derwent works like a mobile hotel. It's genuinely comfortable for week-long trips where you're spending real time inside the vehicle, not just sleeping in it.

The trade-off for the lower cost is vehicle age. These Derwent models are typically 4-7 years old, so expect some wear and tear. Go Cheap maintains their fleet well, but you're not getting a brand-new van.

First-time travellers do fine in this vehicle, especially groups or families who prioritise space and affordability over having the newest model. Just remember it only has two anchor points for child seats, so maximum two kids needing car seats can travel.

One practical tip: book your last campground with a dump point. Getting the vehicle ready for return on your final day makes the whole process smoother.
