GoCheap is the budget brand from Cruisin, and it does exactly what it says on the tin — gets you a campervan for less. The fleet is older than Cruisin's, but it's professionally cleaned and regularly serviced, so you're not giving up reliability to save money.

The main thing to know before you book: the vehicles are 4-7 years old (Hitops are from 2017). You won't get the modern comforts of a premium van, but you'll have everything you need for a proper road trip. If keeping costs down matters more to you than driving the newest motorhome on the road, GoCheap is a smart pick.

Pickup is straightforward. Outside peak periods it shouldn't take long at all. Do the express check-in beforehand and have your card ready for any outstanding payments — it speeds things up.

If something goes wrong on the road, GoCheap's roadside team is available 24/7 for technical issues, accidents or breakdowns. It's a free service on all rentals, and the number's on your vehicle's keychain.
