What license do I need to rent a Europcar Van or Truck?

Utes, Vans and small trucks up to 4.5 tonnes GVM (Gross Vehicle Mass) and 4.2 metres long can be driven using a car license. Trucks longer than 4.2 metres will require a Medium or Heavy Rigid license.

Can I book and pay for a Europcar rental on behalf of someone else?

No. The credit card holder making the booking has to be the main driver and named as the hirer on the rental agreement.

Should I check the condition of my vehicle before leaving the branch?

Absolutely. You will be provided with a vehicle condition report - check this against your vehicle, notify and have recorded in writing by Europcar any unrecorded damage. Taking photos is also a good idea.

Do all Europcar Trucks come with Hydraulic Lifts?

Not all trucks come with hydraulic lifts. When making your booking include this requirement in the comments section to ensure confirmation before picking up your truck.

What fuel should I use in my Europcar Van or Truck?
