This 2 Berth campervan has all the outstanding features of a full sized motorhome. Comfortably sleeping 2 with a fixed double bed makes for a hassle free holiday. Also featuring air-conditioning, heating, TV, DVD, fully equipped kitchen as well as shower and toilet you have ample space to stretch and relax. It is also certified self contained which allows you to freedom camp in our beautiful and protected National Parks.

The Sandpiper hits the sweet spot for couples and solo travellers who want comfort without wrestling a massive motorhome around Australia's roads. It drives more like a car than a truck, but you still get full self-containment with toilet and shower.

The clever layout saves you from the daily bed conversion routine that wears thin by day five of longer trips. The front seats swivel around to face the dining table behind the driver's cabin, making the most of your living space when parked. The rear bed stays put — just climb in and sleep.

You do give something up for this compact design: getting into that rear bed takes a bit more effort than stepping into a larger motorhome. And storage is tight, so pack light with soft luggage. Empty everything into the internal compartments and stash your bags in the external storage — it transforms the space from cramped camper to holiday home.

First-timers love this van, especially solo campers. The vehicle is fairly new, reducing breakdown risks, and Cruisin's customer service and roadside assistance are excellent if questions come up during your hire.

Make the most of the great outdoor access — you get a sliding door on one side and double doors at the rear. Perfect for opening up to nature, though watch for insects sneaking in and out when you've got everything open.
