Our suppliers impose restrictions on where their vehicles (including 4 wheel drives) may be used in Australia. Below are extracts from the Conditions of Use from each supplier's Terms and Conditions. WHERE YOU CAN AND CANNOT DRIVE THE VEHICLE 3.1 You and any Authorised Driver must only use the Vehicle: (a) on a road which is properly formed and constructed as a sealed, metalled or gravel road (unless the Vehicle is a 4 wheel drive Vehicle and in Western Australia where it may only be used on graded, unsealed roads unless approved in writing); (b) In Western Australia You and any Authorised Driver must not use the vehicle off road (e.g. on a fire trail, beach, track, grassed area or to cross streams or any other body of water) unless You have authorisation from Budget in writing. 3.2 You and any Authorised Driver must not, unless authorised in writing by Budget, drive or take the Vehicle; (a) to Gove Peninsula or any island off the coast of Australia (including, but not limited to, Bruny Island, Fraser Island, Groote Eylandt, or the Tiwi Islands); (b) to Kangaroo Island; however, if so authorised, You and any Authorised Driver must not drive the Vehicle between dusk and dawn outside the town limits; (c) into or out of the Northern Territory, Western Australia or Tasmania; (d) in Queensland: (1) on Highway No. 27: beyond Chillagoe in a Westerly direction; (2) on Highway No. 1: beyond Normanton in a Southerly direction and no further North than Karumba; (3) if the Vehicle is a passenger vehicle or truck, beyond Cooktown to the North or Lakeland to the West and no further North than Cape Tribulation on the Coast Road; or (4) on the Coast Road from Helenvale to Cape Tribulation, or from Laura to Lakeland, unless the Vehicle is a 4 wheel drive vehicle; (e) in the snow (at any time and anywhere (including Tasmania)); (f) above the snow line in: (1) New South Wales (being Jindabyne); or (2) Victoria (being Bright), from the beginning of June until the end of September; (g) on beaches or through streams, dams, rivers or flood waters; (h) in Western Australia: (1) to any parts North of Carnarvon; (2) on the Gibb River Road, Cape Leveque Road, Widdjana Gorge, Canning Stock Route, Gunbarrel Highway and Holland Track; (3) beyond 100 kilometres of the Perth city limits between dusk and dawn; or (i) otherwise, outside any town or city limits between dusk and dawn; or (j) in the Northern Territory: (1) on the Jim Jim Falls Road to Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls; or (2) outside any town or city limits between dusk and dawn.

AUSTRALIA Off Road means any area that is not a gazetted road nor a sealed road nor an Unsealed Road and includes but is not limited to unformed roads, fire trails, tracks, river and tidal crossings, creek beds, beaches, streams, dams, rivers, flood waters, sand, deserts, rocks, fields and paddocks. You must never take the Vehicle: (a) on any Unsealed Road unless: (i) it is a well maintained road of no more than 500 metres in length, for the sole purpose of accessing accommodation or official camping areas and Your speed is not more than 40 kilometres per hour; or (ii) Unsealed Road Cover has been purchased; (b) above the Snow Line unless Snow Cover has been purchased; (c) Off Road; (d) between mainland Australia and Tasmania in either direction; (e) onto any island with the exception of: (i) Kangaroo Island; (ii) Stradbroke Island; (iii) Magnetic Island; (iv) Bribie Island; (v) Phillip Island; or (vi) Bruny Island, (f) through any river, stream, creek or tidal crossing; (g) through flood waters or on flood prone roads or on any road where the state or condition of the road make the use of the Vehicle unsafe; (h) on any road where the police or any government or statutory authority has issued a warning, caution or which has been closed; (i) onto any road where We have notified You that the use of the Vehicle is prohibited; (j) in Queensland: (i) north of Chillagoe or west of Georgetown; (ii) north of Cooktown or Laura; (iii) on the Burke Development Road; (iv) north of Maggieville; (v) on Unsealed Roads north and west of Mt Isa; (vi) on the Bloomfield track; or (vii) on the Savannah Way; (k) on the Tanami Track and the Gunbarrel Highway in Western Australia and the Northern Territory; or (l) on the roads to Jim Jim Falls or Twin Falls in the Northern Territory, even if the Vehicle is a Four Wheel Drive (4WD) or Unsealed Road Cover has been purchased. 7.11 You must never take the Vehicle: (a) in Western Australia: (i) on the Cape Leveque Road; (ii) on the road to Windjana Gorge; (iii) on the Cardabia - Ningaloo Road; or (iv) on the access road from the Great Northern Highway to the Purnululu National Park, commonly known as the Bungle Bungles; or (b) in the Northern Territory on the Larapinta and Namitjira Drives, commonly known as the Mereenie Loop, unless the Vehicle is a 4WD and You have purchased Unsealed Road Cover. 7.12 You must never take the Vehicle on the Gibb River Road in Western Australia unless: (a) the Vehicle is a 4WD; (b) You have purchased Unsealed Road Cover; and (c) You have hired a second spare wheel from Us.

Extract of Vehicle Road Restrictions as follows:

PROHIBITED USES If the vehicle is used for a Prohibited Use, we may terminate the Agreement and take the vehicle back at any time at your expense. If the Prohibited Use has caused, or contributed to, loss or damage to the vehicle, you are liable to us for that loss or damage up to the full value of the vehicle and related losses and fees as explained in the ‘Damage and Loss’ section on page 11. Prohibited Uses of a vehicle are: • the vehicle is driven on a beach or through a flooded road or otherwise through a body of water (including but not limited to a pothole, ditch or riverbed), fire, storm, cyclone, or other natural disasters; • the vehicle is driven on unsealed roads (except for access roads to recognised camping or accommodation grounds or, sealed roads which are under repair, (unless specified in writing by Hertz) or a road notified to you as prohibited by Hertz or off-road (eg on fire trails, tracks, fields or paddocks); • the vehicle is driven in restricted areas, including airport service roads and associated areas; • the vehicle is driven in the following areas and the vehicle is not a 4WD: – in the Simpson Desert, on the Strzelecki Track and the Birdsville Track; – in Western Australia on the Tanami Track, Gunbarrel Hwy, Gibb River Road and the Bungle Bungles; – in Northern Territory on the Oodnadatta Track, the Plenty Highway, Finke Road (between Alice Springs and Oodnadatta), Central Arnhem Road and Arnhem Land in general; – in Queensland on Bourke Development Road from Chillagoe to Normanton, Cape York during the months from December to May inclusive, Savannah Way from Normanton to Borroloola and the Bloomfield Track; – any other such location or region reasonably specified by Hertz to you as an area or region which is prohibited. • the vehicle is driven in any of the following areas at any time: – in Western Australia on the Canning Stock Route and the Old Gunbarrel Hwy; – in Northern Territory at the Lost City in Litchfield Park; – in Queensland on the Old Telegraph Track section of the road to Cape York, Boggy Hole (Finke Gorge National Park), the Old South Road from Maryvale to Finke and Fraser Island at any time; Alpine Regions: • the vehicle should not be driven in the snow without the permission of Hertz. Specifically the vehicle should not be driven above the snow line in: – New South Wales (being Jindabyne); – Victoria (being Bright), or – Tasmania.

You must never take the Vehicle: (a) on any unsealed road unless it is a four wheel drive (4WD) vehicle which has a transfer case with an independent Low range and Hi range gearing capability; (b) in any area above the snow line, where snow chains are required unless you have purchased Snow Cover; (c) Off Road; (d) between mainland Australia and Tasmania in either direction, unless given written prior approval as authorised by Us; (e) onto any island with the exception of: (i) Kangaroo Island; (ii) Stradbroke Island; (iii) Magnetic Island; (iv) Bribie Island; (v) Phillip Island; or (vi) Bruny Island, (f) ) through any river, stream, creek or tidal crossing; (g) through flood waters or on flood prone roads or on any road where the state or condition of the road make the use of the Vehicle unsafe; (h) on any road where the police or any government or statutory authority has issued a warning, caution or which has been closed; (i) onto any road or region where We have notified You that the use of the Vehicle is prohibited; (j) in the Kakadu region: (i) Jim Jim and Twin Falls; (k) in the Katherine region: (i) Central Arnhem Road to Gove beyond Bulman; (l) in the Broome region: (i) Cable Beach; or (ii) any other beach in the region; (m) in the Kimberley region: (i) Mitchell Plateau; (ii) Kalumburu road north of Drysdale River station; (iii) on the Gibb River Road, subject to seasonal road conditions; and (iv) outside any town or city limits between sunset and sunrise; (n) in Central Australia: (i) on the Tanami Track; (ii) on the Gunbarrell Highway; (iii) on the Plenty/Donahue Highway; (iv) on the Canning Stock Route; (v) on the Oodnadatta Track; (vi) on the Strzelecki Track; and (vii) on the Birdsville Track, when travelling with another vehicle which You can provide documented evidence of; (o) any Aboriginal Land without providing an entry permit to Thrifty for Our written approval prior. Any entry to Aboriginal Land without a permit is illegal; (p) in Queensland: (i) on the Gulf Track; (ii) on the Telegraph Track and on the Peninsula Developmental Road north of Bramwell station; and (iii) on the Cape York Peninsula; subject to seasonal road conditions; (q) in Northern Territory: (i) outside any town or city limits between sunset and sunrise; (r) in any other remote area as specified in Your Rental Agreement between sunset or sunrise, with the exception of Uluru and Kata Tjuta National Park; 7.11 There are other prohibited areas and routes where You must never take the Vehicle: (a) in the Northern Territory: (i) on Larapinta Drive or Namatjira Drive, also known as the Mereenie Loop Road; (b) in Western Australia: (i) on the Spring Creek Track, in Purnululu National Park (Bungle Bungles); (ii) on the Gibb River Road, and all unsealed roads adjacent to this road; and (iii) on the Fairfield-Leopold Downs Road, and all unsealed roads adjacent to this road; even if additional CDWP products have been purchased, the standard, non- reducible DRF and SVA (where applicable) amounts apply when travelling in these areas and routes.

“Permitted Area of Use” means the area in which the Vehicle may be driven. The Permitted Area of Use is limited as follows; (i) For those Vehicles-hired outside the Northern Territory and Western Australia, the Permitted Area of Use does not include the Northern Territory or Western Australia. (ii) For those Vehicles hired from the Northern Territory, the Permitted Area of use does not include any other States or Territories of Australia. (iii) For those Vehicles hired in the Northern Territory, the Permitted Area of use does not include the road to Jim Jim Gorge and Twin Falls or north of the Oodnadatta Track (including the following areas: Mount Dare, Dalhousie Springs, Witjira National Park and Pedirka Desert). (iv) For those Vehicles hired from Western Australia, the Permitted Area of Use does not include any other states or Territories of Australia and does not include any place further north or East than Exmouth (21°54’S / 114°10’E); or further east than Kalgoorlie-Boulder Township (30°40’S / 121°22’E) or further east than Esperance (33°45’S / 121°55’E). (v) The Permitted Area of Use in Queensland does not include any place further north than Cooktown (15°30’S / 145°16’E) or in a westerly direction beyond Chillagoe (17°07’S / 144°33’E) and Georgetown (18°17’S / 143°33’E). The Permitted Area of Use does not include the ‘Bloomfield Track’ coastal route between Cape Tribulation (16°05’S / 145°29’E) and Cooktown (15°30’S / 145°16’E) or Fraser Island or Stradbroke Island. (vi) The Permitted Area of Use in South Australia does not include any place further north than Wilpena (31°25’S / 139°29’E), or in a westerly direction beyond Ceduna (32°07’S / 133°46’E). (vii) The Permitted Area of Use does not include any area of Snow or Ice Conditions. PROHIBITED USE OF VEHICLE It is prohibited: 3.1 for the Vehicle to be taken or driven outside the Permitted Area of Use. 3.7 to use the Vehicle to push or tow any vehicle, trailer, boat or other object. 3.8 to drive the Vehicle Off-Road or anywhere other than a gazetted man-made road. 3.10 for the Vehicle to be driven on beaches or through streams, dams, rivers, or flood waters (including water caused by flash flooding, riverine flooding, stormwater flooding and actions of the sea), bush fire affected areas or any roadway where the Police or any other Government authority have issued a warning or caution. 3.11 to use the Vehicle in Snow or Ice Conditions or above the snow line during periods of snow. 3.16 to drive the Vehicle on an unsealed road if rented from a Remote Location.
