OzAsia Festival
The OzAsia Festival is Australia’s premier international arts festival, celebrating the lively and energetic festivities, traditions, and histories that make up the cultural landscape of Asia.
The Festival features a variety of performances including contemporary dance, music, film, theatre, visual arts, food and discussion panels. A highlight of the occasion is the Moon Lantern Festival, a free event that showcases the Moon Lantern Parade at sunset by the river. It is the largest lantern parade held in Australia. Each year, the Festival features particular regions of Asia, with past spotlights being put on Japan, Malaysia, India and China.
