Festival of Sails - Geelong

With over 300 yacht entrants and 3000 competitors, the Festival of Sails is the largest annual keel boat regatta in the Southern Hemisphere. The festival was first held in 1844, making it one of Australia’s oldest sporting events, bursting with tradition, enthusiasm and love for the competition.

Alongside all the sailing action is the free community Waterfront Festival to keep everyone entertained. From music, entertainment, stalls, food and drinks, there is something for everyone to enjoy on what is promised to be a busy and exciting Australia Day long weekend.
