Biennial Barossa Vintage Wine Festival

Held every 2 years the Barossa Vintage Wine Festival is Australia's oldest and longest running such event first held in 1947.

Today's Festival embraces much more than just the region's world renowned wine with music, arts and craft, literature, entertainment and food available over 7 days across 150 events and culminating in the Black Tie Festival Ball on the final evening at Chateau Tanunda.

Easter Saturday sees the Festival open with the Carnival at Seppeltsfield Winery which has something for everyone from wine tasting, Gourmet food to Grape treading and plenty of entertainment for the kids.

With so much going on right across the region a great way to get around is to hire a car or go one better and take your bed with you in a campervan.

DriveNow offers an impartial booking service allowing you to compare and book car and campervan rentals from a range of Australia's leading vehicle providers. With Adelaide being the closest pick up and drop off location we suggest exploring our Adelaide Campervan Rental page for more details on vehicles and rates. For those planning to arrive by air the DriveNow Adelaide Airport Car Hire page will provide the latest pricing for airport rental pickups.

With the Festival running over Easter rental vehicles will sell out fast. Getting in early will not only secure the vehicle you are after but also ensure a better price.
