Email Policy
How DriveNow manages email communications responsibly
At DriveNow, we take email delivery, compliance, and user trust seriously.
This page outlines how we manage, send, and secure all outbound email communications from our domain.
Types of Email We Send
We send two main categories of email:
Transactional Communications
Sent in direct response to customer activity, such as:
- Order confirmations
- Payment reminders
- Check‑in and pickup reminders
- Account verification and password reset emails
These messages are essential to provide our services and are only sent to users who interact with our platform.
Subscription‑Based Communications
We operate two Relocation WatchList mailing lists, one for Australia and one for New Zealand.
Subscribers may receive up to two messages per day — one from each list — depending on daily product availability.
Subscribers can:
- Subscribe to Australia or New Zealand independently
- Filter based on location and dates
- Unsubscribe easily through a token‑secured one‑click link (no login required)
Each WatchList email includes:
- A List‑Unsubscribe header and RFC 8058 non interactive link
- An in‑body unsubscribe option
Consent and Compliance
We send commercial email only to recipients who have:
- Explicitly opted in to receive communications, or
- An existing relationship that requires transactional messages
We adhere to international anti‑spam and data protection regulations, including:
- CAN‑SPAM Act (US)
- CASL (Canada)
- GDPR (EU/UK)
- Australian Spam Act 2003
Recipients can unsubscribe or adjust preferences at any time using the links provided in each message.
