What To Take When Collecting Your Car Rental
Picking Up Your Car
Below are several items required when collecting your vehicle and some items that DriveNow recommend taking to ensure your vehicle collection goes smoothly.
Standard items required:
- Your booking confirmation
- Physical driver’s license
- International driver permit (if travelling overseas)
- Certified translation of license (if your license is not in the local language)
- Passport or ID
- Physical Credit Card (VISA debit or Debit Mastercard’s may be accepted by some vehicle providers)
We also recommend taking a copy of your travel insurance policy if it includes car hire cover. Depot staff from your vehicle provider will generally always offer additional insurance options when collecting the vehicle. Having a copy of your travel insurance policy to reference will ensure you do not pay for coverage you already have.
