Luggage
Boot space varies between models in the same category. Read the listed bag capacity as a guide, and travel with soft bags if you can.
Luggage space is hard to predict because the rental company may give you any of several models in the category you booked. To reduce the risk of your bags not fitting, we recommend soft bags rather than hard suitcases.
Reading the luggage capacity
Listings usually show luggage capacity as, for example, "2 small, 1 large". Each rental company defines small and large bags differently. Generally, small means carry-on size and large means an ordinary suitcase.
Because the exact make and model isn't guaranteed, the rental company can't give an exact luggage capacity. The figures for each category are usually conservative estimates, set to help avoid disappointment on pick-up day.
