When Managing Your Booking

In this guide, we'll provide a step by step guide on when payment for your booking will occur, and your different payment options.

How do I Pay for my Campervan?

After you have selected your campervan and press the “BOOK” button in green the next page is the final steps before making the reservation.

Once you have confirmed your booking details in Step 1, your excess liability in Step 2, and your personal details in Step 3, you can proceed to enter your payment information in Step 4.

Please enter the name on the card, the card number, the expiry date and the CVC/CV2. The transaction will appear on your account statement as DRIVENOW and it will be charged in the local currency of the pick-up location. As an example, a reservation in Australia will be charged in AUD.

What Card do you Accept?

DriveNow accept VISA & Mastercard debit/credit card.

Please note for Australian reservations a non-refundable surcharge of 0.9% applies to all card transactions processed by DriveNow

How much will I be charged?

If your pick-up date is within 6 weeks you will charge for the full amount of your reservation showing as “Payable on Booking Confirmation”.

If your pick-up date is outside of 6 weeks you will charge a deposit to secure your reservation and a confirmation will be sent with a secure payment link showing the remaining amount payable but the XX due date.

Note: Items listed as "Payable at pick up" will be paid directly to your vehicle provider.

Can I pay via direct deposit?

You can pay the remaining balance via bank transfer. The details are on the secure payment link on your booking confirmation. Please let us know via email once you have processed the transfer.

Can I pay with 2 different cards?

You can pay for your DriveNow Campervan reservation with different cards.

Note: The main driver/booking holder must have a valid Credit Card (or Debit Card if allowed) at time of pick-up for the security deposit/bond under his/her name.

Card Daily Limit/Payment Declined

If your payment is declined at time of booking or when you pay the remaining balance, you may have a daily limit or an international transaction block on your card, so we would suggest that you contact your bank immediately and make them aware you are expecting a charge from DriveNow in Australia to be processed.

DriveNow Credit Voucher

If you have a DriveNow Credit, once you are ready to travel again and create a new reservation, simply give us a call on (613) 9095 7460 or email us with your new travel dates and quote your original reference #XXXXX. DriveNow will guide from there on how to use your Credit Voucher for your future campervan reservation.

Does DriveNow store the Car details?

At DriveNow, we take payment security seriously. We don’t handle or store your card details. Instead, we use a Level 1 PCI DSS certified service provider who ensure that the handling and storage of your card details meet the highest industry standards.
