When Managing Your Booking

Once you have completed a rental booking, there are a number of options open to you if you need to make changes. Read on to find out more

Booking Amendments and Other Requests

To request any amendment to your reservation please visit the manage your booking page and enter your DriveNow booking reference number. The DriveNow booking reference number is the #XXXXXX reference in the subject line of your confirmation email, please exclude the # when entering your reference.

Once you are on the DriveNow Order Manager page click the green button for “Modify booking” and then enter your amendment request in the field below. Please make sure to enter the full details of your request including dates, times and locations or the new vehicle you are looking for as it will assist our team with checking if the request is possible and will get you an answer sooner. Click “Submit Modification Request” once you have entered all the details.

How long will an amendment request take?

Amendment request processing times vary between the different vehicle providers and if your request is sent during office hours. Amendment requests are generally actioned within a few hours with most vehicle providers, but we recommend allowing for 24-48 hours for a response. If your request is missing any necessary information, then we will contact you for clarification and the amendment process can then take longer.

Confirming an amendment

If your request is available and the amendment updates the vehicle rental cost, you will need to confirm you wish to proceed in writing via a reply email. Other amendments such as changing liability reduction option or adding optional items do not require a reply email confirmation.
