
Cancellation and Refunds
Once you have a confirmed campervan rental booking, there are a number of options open to you if you need to cancel your booking, and some financial penalties that may apply. Read on to find out more
How to Cancel your Reservation
To cancel your Campervan reservation please submit your cancellation request via our DriveNow Order Manager or email your cancellation request to savemore@drivenow.com.au. If you have submitted your booking request incorrectly or without meaning to, please call immediately via +61390957460.
Cancellation Fees
Cancellation fees differ between each of our campervan providers. You can find the Cancellation fees listed in step 2 on the booking page once you have selected a vehicle. To view the cancellation fees on the booking page, click on “View Excess/Bond & Quote Details” and then “Cancellation fees”, this will drop down the cancellation fee periods for your selected vehicle.
Below is an example of the cancellation fee period for Apollo Motorhomes 24/25 season:

30 - 7 days prior to vehicle pick-up | 20% of rental |
6 - 1 days prior to vehicle pick-up | 30% of rental |
Cancellation on day of pickup or No Show | 100% of rental |
The "Period" column refers to when the reservation is cancelled. The corresponding "Charge liability section" is the applicable fee when cancelled in this period.
Cancellation Notes
- There is no refund for late pick-up or early return of the vehicle.
- Original pick-up date or the earliest confirmed pick-up date is used to calculate the cancellation fee.
- These cancellation conditions apply exclusively and under all circumstances.
Some vehicle providers have additional cancellation notes that are applicable, please refer to the cancellation conditions of your selected vehicle provider.

Emergencies
The process for cancelling your reservation due to an emergency is largely the same as a standard cancellation, however additionally you should contact your travel insurance provider to find out their claims process. At time of cancellation, please provide any documents regarding the emergency that you can as these will help DriveNow liaise on your behalf with your vehicle provider to request lenience on the cancellation fees. Terms and conditions accepted at time of booking apply under all circumstances, on some occasions our vehicle providers may offer lenience at their own discretion.
Travel Insurance
It is recommended all travellers consider purchasing a comprehensive travel insurance policy. If you need any documentation provided for a claim, please email savemore@drivenow.com.au or reply to your booking confirmation email.
