Travelling in a convoy for a campervan hire is a great way to see Australia with your friends and family. As organising group trips can be daunting, we have provided a guide below for all things related to group bookings.
In Australia the largest motorhomes for hire will only accommodate 6 travellers in total, and most will usually only be recommended for 4 adults and 2 children. All passengers are required to wear a seatbelt while driving, so if you are travelling with more than 6 people then you may need to hire multiple vehicles. If you are travelling with more than 2 young children, you may also need more anchor points for child seats than a single vehicle allows.

Once you have chosen the vehicles you want for your group, email our reservations team with your preferences so that we can check availability and put vehicles on hold while you finalize with the rest of your group.
To confirm the bookings, you will need the full name and contact details for the main driver of each vehicle and payment details for the deposit or the full balance. Bookings cannot be made under one name as the name on each booking must match the Driver for the rental agreement.
Please declare prior to booking if you are travelling in a group of 3 vehicles as some of our vehicle providers have different terms and conditions that apply. These altered terms and conditions vary between our campervan providers but can include changes to the cancellation periods, deposits required and the pick up process.
Campervan providers also have depot capacity limits throughout the year which may cause group bookings to be declined even when there is vehicle availability online.
