What should you bring to enjoy your Australian Campervan Holiday?

  • Driver's Licence. If your driver's licence is not in English then we require an accredited English translation or an International Driver's permit, along with your driver's licence. We must sight both at pick-up.
  • Passport (for international travellers)
  • Money/currency (travellers’ cheques, credit cards, Australian cash, bank/debit card)
  • Travel insurance - leave one copy of your policy at home and take one copy with you
  • Electrical adaptors
  • Day pack
  • Camera and charger, spare memory stick
  • Watch with alarm
  • Mobile phone and charger
  • Laptop and power cord
  • Sunscreen – the Australian UV rays can be very harsh
  • Eco plastic bags – handy to store your dirty laundry, wet towels, and rubbish. Zip lock bags are handy to keep meal leftovers fresh.
  • First-aid kit
  • Toiletries
  • Clothing & footwear
  • Swimming gear & beach towel
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Sandals or slip-on footwear (handy for use at campground bathrooms)
  • Sunhat and sunglasses
  • Warm jacket and beanie
  • Refillable water bottle
  • Sunscreen and lip balm
Expert Tip
  • Bring a torch/headtorch, and insect repellent. If you forget Australia has a wide range of shops you can purchase it from. Like Bunnings (most popular), Anaconda or BCF.
  • We recommend packing your gear in soft luggage bags—they’re much easier to store in your campervan than hard suitcases
  • Pack a power-board so you can charge all your electronic devices – the kids and yours.
  • If you are traveling with kids, bring DVD’s (if your vehicle has this feature), games, a deck of cards, toys.
