Do I need to pay a deposit when booking a Campervan Rental?

The number of Campervan Rental providers requiring no deposit when making a booking has changed significantly over the years with the majority today requiring some form of initial payment when booking 6 or more weeks out from the pick-up date. Any booking made within 6 weeks of the start of the rental requires full payment at the time of the booking.

The following Non-Refundable Deposits applies to Campervan bookings in Australia made more than 6 weeks out:

  • Apollo – 10% or a minimum of $250
  • Britz - 10%
  • CamperMan - $200
  • Cheapa Campa – 10% or a minimum of $250
  • Cruisin – No deposit
  • Go Cheap – No deposit
  • Hippie Campers – 10% or a minimum of $250
  • Jucy – 20%
  • Kangaroo – 20%
  • Let’s Go - $100
  • Maui - 10%
  • Maui Elite - 10%
  • Mighty - 10%
  • Spaceships – 20%
  • Star RV – 10% or a minimum of $250
  • Travellers Autobarn - No deposit
