Western Australia really knows how to put on a feast. If you're planning a campervan road trip in 2026, you’re in luck — the festival calendar is packed with cherries, crabs, long-table lunches, truffles, seafood, fire-lit winter banquets and everything in between.
To save you scrolling through clunky blocks of text, here’s a clean, at-a-glance guide to the major WA food and wine festivals in 2026, including dates, regions and a taste of why each one is worth building into your DriveNow campervan holiday. There are links directly to the individual websites so if you are reading this in 2027, the links will give you up to date information.

A four-day celebration of cool-climate wine, paddock-to-plate dining and local stories. With more than 20 curated events, you’ll find everything from Peak-to-Plate hikes to Riesling masterclasses and cultural events like Kaarl Waangkaninj Merenj – Fire, Yarns and Food.

Set in one of Australia’s most dramatic national parks, this festival celebrates Banjima culture through music, storytelling, food and art. It’s a rare chance to experience Country through the eyes of its Traditional Owners — and it’s hard to imagine a more powerful setting for it.

Seafood lovers, this one’s for you. Expect ocean-fresh produce, paddock-to-plate dining and Geraldton’s famous Abrolhos Long Table Lunch. Iconic events sell out fast, but you can still wander through the Helm or Beach Price markets for bites straight from the coast.
