Visit Crocosaurus Cove
Here you’ll encounter the world’s largest display of Australian reptiles. Crocosaurus Cove is touted a must see attraction when visiting Australia’s Top End. Daring visitors can actually “swim with the crocs”. Crocosaurus Cove is most famous for its Cage of Death. You’ll come face to face with a deadly saltwater croc, separated only by a clear underwater barrier.
Take a Tiwi Islands tour
From Darwin you can join a group tour to see the beautiful Tiwi Islands. The Bathurst and Melville islands are only 80 km north of Darwin. You just need to jump on a ferry to find out why this beautiful place is known as the ‘Island of Smiles’. The locals are known to embrace AFL and showcase their unique artwork.
