Life on the road can be stressful and difficult at times, especially if you find it difficult to plan ahead and organise what you’re doing. But this can all be fixed. Download these five great apps to turn your road trip into the easiest and most enjoyable holiday yet!

Petrol Spy Australia
Search for petrol prices across Australia’s capital cities. Other app users report petrol prices using this app, so you can compare prices at each fuel station in any postcode. It’s always nice if you return the favour and update fuel prices to help the next traveller. WorldMate makes your holiday smoother and a lot easier to track where you’re meant to be next. It also features extensive reviews for each restaurant. It will even alert you to nearby grocery stores if there aren’t any bars or restaurants nearby.

Kayak compares hundreds of travel sites to find the best deals on hotels, flights and hire cars. The app also has an itinerary management feature and a flight tracker. Kayak also has a feature that allows you to look up airport information, baggage fees and airline numbers. However, perhaps the best and most cost-saving feature is the price alert feature, which alerts you when the flights to your destination suddenly drop in price.
