Here are five of them:

Spot sea life around Bribie Island

Dugongs and loveable dolphins frequent the area, with the Pumicestone Passage also providing an ideal home for turtles. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean and the contrasting rolling green hills on the mainland while on board.

Picnic at Lake Wivenhoe
Who said an exciting family trip away from the city had to cost a lot? Those wanting to relax and enjoy scenic views should head to Lake Wivenhoe. Pack a picnic, and unwind on the shores of the lake, which supplies water to the region. If you want to take up a fun water activity, you can have a go at fishing, kayaking or even just splash around in the water.
