Paradise Country
Paradise Country
AUSTRALIAN wildlife and farm animal parks used to be the domain almost exclusively of overseas tourists eager to have a traditional Australian Outback experience. In order to attract the domestic market, Paradise Country has introduced an “Aussie Mates” tour, a half-day program specifically for local visitors keen to get an insight into the typical Aussie farm experience. This suppliments the other 3 daily half-day tours the first of which kicks off at 9.30am.
At Paradise Country, you can meet native animals such as koalas, kangaroos and emus, learn how to throw a boomerang, crack a stockwhip, watch shearers, stockmen and their sheepdogs at work, and get up close to baby animals in the Animal Nursery.
The tour includes a traditional Aussie barbecue lunch and Billy Tea and Damper around the camp fire all capped off with some traditional bush dancing. For complete information on everything that is available at Paradise Country please visit paradisecountry.myfun.com.au.
