Dreamworld is truly a family experience, catering to all ages. Get slimed at Nick Central, a kid-friendly zone bursting with 16 rides and attractions based on Cartoon network Nickelodeon’s characters and shows. Bump into SpongeBob and Patrick, discover Dora the Explorer or take a blast with Jimmy Neutron, kids will love to get up and close to all their favourite TV characters.
Down at Wiggles World littlies can ride on the Big Red Car or bottle feed baby lambs and goats at Wiggles Barnyard Friends, an interactive petting zoo.
One of the latest rides to open at Dreamworld is SpongeBob FlyPants. Specifically catering for the younger visitor, the ride takes 24 passengers lying flat on their stomachs on a weightless flight around a large jelly fish with SpongeBob riding on top.
OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Many Australians know Dreamworld as the home of Big Brother, the popular reality TV show. The house where the contestants reside during the competition is open for inspection from July to December each year, and during filming the set is a hive of activity as the cameras roll, capturing the often crazy antics of the housemates under the scrutiny of the spotlight.
Other Dreamworld attractions include an amazing Sunset Safari where visitors get to visit Tiger Island and meet & talk with Dreamworld's Tiger handlers. Then get up & close with Australian wild life with a visit to th back end of the Australian Wildlife Experience. Tours kick off at 4.45pm and run for 2 hours with a limit of 25 people per group.
