If you're after a great set of wheels with on-board accommodation for you and your partner to escape the city then the Britz 2 berth Rookie is perfect. A Recent addition to the Britz Australian fleet, the Rookie comes with a double bed in the back, mini-fridge, annexe and 2 camping tolls and a picnic table. Built on the reliability of Volkswagen, this camping-car has air-conditioning and heating in the driver's cabin, runs on unleaded petrol with power steering and manual 5 speed transmission.

Camping-cars may not have all the comforts that campervan and motorhomes offer, but they are a cheaper and for some, more flexible option than their larger cousins and becoming ever more popular.

The Rookie is subject to a minimum 3 day hire (most Campervans are minimum 5 day) and based on calendar day not hour as with regular car rental. One Way rental is subject to a minimum of 10 days however there are no one-way rental fees with the Rookie and it's available for hire by drivers 18 and over. The Rookie is currently only available from the Britz branches located in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Cairns.
