The excess insurance reduction options are highly recommended for peace of mind in the event of an accident. These daily rates vary, full details are available during the selection and booking process.

A Bond is required on any vehicle hired at pick up. If paid by Credit Card this will be debited and reimbursed on return of the vehicle. The Bond reflects (and is reduced by) the insurance excess option taken. If no excess option is taken a bond of $7500 is required. Bonds are deposited directly with Apollo.

Debited Bonds are payable at vehicle pick up directly to Apollo who may charge a surchage fee for Credit Cards. Tip - ensure you have funds available on a credit card to cover any bond.

Cancellation Fees

Booking Change and Cancellation policies are set and governed by our suppliers and subject to change beyond the control of DriveNow. Whilst every effort is made to ensure we list the current cancellation terms and conditions as they are subject to change beyond our control we will be obliged to apply any modified policies as directed by Apollo.

Please note that DriveNow does not retain any monies from Supplier cancellation fees.

• 25+ days prior to pick up and 7 days after Booking date - $250 Cancellation Fee
• 7-24 days prior to pick up 20% (minimum $250)
• Less than 7 days prior to pickup 50% (minimum $250)
• On day of pick up or no show 100%
• No refund available for unused days

Cancellation Fees

If you wish to make any changes to your booking the booking will be calculated by using either the original rate or the current rate, depending on whichever rate is higher. The following situations are classified as booking alterations:

• Change of date for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
• Change of location (depot) for vehicle pick-up or drop-off
• Change of vehicle category
• Name change

If you decide to extend your rental duration (changing the drop-off date) by 2 days the same rate is used that applied on the day when you made your original booking. If you extend by 3 days or more, the booking change rule applies as outlined above. If an amendment is made to the rental dates within 14 days of collection, no refund will be made if the length of hire is shortened (that is, the rental will be charged at the number of days originally booked). A relocation fee may apply if the collection or return location is amended within 14 days of vehicle pick up or if notification occurs during the hire.

We will organise and confirm the change or cancellation of your booking with Apollo before close of business on the next business day and advise you via email of that cancellation and any fees that may be applicable per Apollo's conditions.

All Apollo vehicles come equipped with complimentary living equipment. There are some variations depending upon the features of the rental vehicle, however in essence you can expect the following:

• Apollo Pack: matches, mini shampoo and conditioner, dishwashing liquid, sponge & soap, salt & pepper, coffee, tea and sugar sachets.
• Kitchen: Plates & Bowls, Cups & glasses, Cutlery, Bottle/Can opener, cooking utensils, pans & Frying pan, Kettle and tea towels
• Living: Dustpan & brush, Bucket & plastic containers, clothes line and pegs, road maps and vehicle & camper ground guides
• Bedding: Pillows, sheets, Sleeping bags or duvets, bathroom towels.

Optional extras available from Apollo include the following, generally charged on a per rental basis these include:

LP Gas Refill Service: Gas bottles are supplied full and can be returned empty if a service fee is paid on pick up.
