1. Terms & Conditions

DriveNow™ Pty Ltd ("DriveNow™") provides you with access to motor vehicle rental suppliers ("the Suppliers"). You must agree to the Terms and Conditions detailed below ("the Terms") in relation to all motor vehicle bookings:

a) All motor vehicle bookings are final. Cancellation penalties depend on motor vehicle type (see Cancellation Policy at Item 3 below). An Administration Charge (specified below) applies to all booking changes and cancellations.

(b) DriveNow™ is a booking service for the Suppliers. You will be required to complete a rental agreement directly with the relevant Supplier on collection of the rented vehicle. Your rental is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective Supplier with whom the rental agreement is made.

(c) Each Supplier is responsible for notifying inventory levels to DriveNow™. DriveNow™ does not accept any liability for unavailability of vehicles caused by the Supplier over-selling its own vehicle inventory.

(d) You are required to produce the same current, full and valid drivers licence as used to book the motor vehicle rental when collecting and completing the rental agreement. You will also be required to provide a credit card at collection of the rented vehicle. For non pre-paid bookings, this card will be charged by the Supplier for the cost of the vehicle rental. This card will also be used to cover additional charges (such as extra insurance, fuel prepayments, security deposits, Stamp Duty and Taxes not included at time of booking). NOTE: The credit card presented MUST be in the name of one of the nominated Drivers, signing the suppliers rental agreement, it cannot be in the name of a party who is NOT present at the time of picking up the vehicle.

(e) DriveNow™ makes every effort to ensure that the information available on its web site is accurate ("the Site"). However, DriveNow™ cannot and does not guarantee that the Site is free from errors, faults or omissions. DriveNow™ does not accept liability for any errors or ommissions and reserves the right to change information published on the Site at any time.

(f) DriveNow™ will not be liable (whether in contract, tort, or otherwise) for any indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of or connected with the Site or for any products or services purchased from the Site.

(g) DriveNow™ makes no warranty or representation about the fitness or suitability of any product or service advertised on the Site. To the extent permitted by law, all other terms, conditions, agreements, warranties, representations, or understandings whether express or implied, in any way extending to, otherwise relating to, or binding upon DriveNow™, other than these Terms are hereby excluded.

(h) DriveNow™ receives a payment from the Suppliers for the provision of the DriveNow™ booking service.

(i) You must be at least 21 years of age, with a current and full Australian or International drivers licence, written in English to book motor vehicle rental on DriveNow™. Probationary Licences are not accepted. Most of the prices displayed are for drivers over 25 years of age. If you are under 25 years of age, at the rental collection point you may:

(i) be asked to pay a surcharge to complete the rental agreement,
(ii) have your rental agreement denied and your booking cancelled. (refer to our cancellation policy)

(j) These Terms do not affect consumers' statutory rights.

(k) Most car and campervan rentals include unlimited mileage, unless otherwise stated under the offer details of your booking.

(l) Car Rentals are charged per 24 Hours, whilst Campervan rentals are charged per Calendar Day.

(m) Bookings made through DriveNow™ are not eligible for express service, car rental loyalty programs or frequent flyer miles (unless otherwise stated by the relevant Supplier's offer details).

(n) Neither DriveNow™ nor any Supplier will accept coupons for upgrades, free days, discounts or any other promotions.

(o) In these Terms, a reference to 'AUD', '$' or 'dollar' is a reference to the lawful currency of Australia.

(p) All amounts are inclusive of GST unless specified as being 'exclusive of GST'.

(q) You agree that these Terms shall be deemed to be made in the state of Victoria in the Commonwealth of Australia and is subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Victorian Courts.

(r) Any part of these Terms being the whole or part of a clause shall be capable of severance without effecting any other part of these Terms.

(s) Registration data and certain other information about you is subject to our Privacy Policy. For more information, please review our full Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that DriveNow™ will disclose your information to your nominated Supplier in order to provide the rental services. DriveNow™ may also disclose your information to any other service provider DriveNow™ engages to carry out or assist its functions or activities.

(t) PLEASE NOTE - While you are allowed and encouraged to share fuel expenses with your fellow travellers, it is illegal to charge them a fare.

(u) You are not permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle is legally registered to carry (as indicated on the Vehicle Details page on the Site).

(u) SECURITY BONDS - You must pay a security bond to Suppliers as per details below :

Car Rental Security Deposit/Bond
You will be required to pay a bond on your credit card to secure any incidental costs and your insurance liability. The credit card you use for the bond must be in the name of one of the parties signing the rental agreement.

Campervan Rental Security Deposit/Bond
On pick up of the vehicle, a Vehicle Security Deposit is payable. The amount is determined by the Excess Reduction Package selected (refer to your Campervan details re Excess amounts). If you do not take an Excess Reduction Option, the Security Deposit is the full amount of the vehicle Excess (in most cases AU$5,000) and is payable ONLY BY CREDIT CARD. The Deposit amount to be paid by credit card, will be debited to your account immediately. Due to exchange rate fluctuations there could be some variance in the amount refunded compared to the amount initially charged. Campervan companies do not accept any liability for variances up or down. The credit card you use for the bond must be in the name of one of the parties signing the rental agreement.

2. One-Way Specials - Conditions

Security Deposit/Bond
You must pay the following bond in relation to the following Suppliers:
THL - $650
Apollo - $1500
PLEASE NOTE - BOND MUST BE PAID VIA A CREDIT CARD, NO CASH BONDS ARE ACCEPTED.
Bond is returned to the credit card at the end of the trip, subject to the Supplier's conditions.

Vehicle
Please note that when booking a One-Way Special, if the vehicle booked is not available, the Supplier may provide another vehicle type - usually larger than you require - at the time of pick up, subject to availability.

3. Cancellation Policy

There are NO administration charges for any booking changes or cancellations made.

There is no refund for late pick up or early return of the vehicle.

Car Rental Cancellation fees:

- If cancelled more than 48 hours before vehicle pick up - No charge.
- If cancelled less than 48 hours before vehicle pick up - No Charge.
- If cancelled on the day of pick up or a no show you maybe charged the first days rental - subject to the Rental Companies Terms and Conditions. DriveNow does not levy any Cancellation Charges.

Campervans, Motorhomes, 4wd Campervans, & 4wd Cancellation fees:

- If cancelled more than 24 days before vehicle pick up - No charge.
- If cancelled 7 to 24 days prior to pick up - 25% of gross rental or $200, whichever is the greater amount.
- If cancelled less than 7 days prior to pick up - 55% of gross rental.
- If cancelled on the day of pick up or a no show - 100% of gross rental.

"One-Way Specials" Cancellation fees:

- If cancelled within 12 hours of booking - No fee.
- If cancelled more than 12 hours after booking or now show for pick up - $250 fee.
