DriveNow's Car "Double the Difference" Lowest Price Guarantee

Our Car Price Guarantee is a promise to you as a valued customer and a statement of our confidence to bring you the best value car rental with our suppliers in Australia and New Zealand.

DriveNow will match any genuine price subject to availability for an Australian and New Zealand based business and website. Yes, that even includes our supplier's own websites! Not only only that, we will give you a bonus discount equal to DOUBLE the difference between our price and the price you have been quoted.

What will DriveNow beat?

We will match any available* rate offered by an Australian website (for Australian travel) or a New Zealand website (for N.Z. travel) registered as a business for car hire within Australia or New Zealand.

How much will we beat the other offer?

We will refund you the rental cost equal to double the difference between the price on our site and the price you have been quoted. So, if the rental cost on our site is $250, and the price you are quoted is $200, we will refund you $100 for the rental ($250 less DOUBLE the price difference) ($250 - $200 = $50 X 2 = $100).

Are there any conditions?

There are some conditions to this offer that are fair to both you and us, as follows, and all of which apply to any claim:

  • The competing booking details must match your DriveNow booking including supplier, vehicle, pickup and dropoff location, date & time
  • The rental must be completed with the supplier, using the booking made with DriveNow
  • The rental must be completed based on rates applicable to Australia and New Zealand as the Country of Residence
  • As our suppliers' rates can literally change from hour to hour, your claim to us must be made no later than 6 hours after your booking to us is completed
  • The lowest price guarantee does not apply to corporate, wholesale or government rates, nor preferred/promotional rates offered to selective groups (eg Frequent Flyer, Auto Club members) or through specific distribution channels (eg a specific Travel Agency chain)
  • The lowest price guarantee ONLY applies to the vehicle rental cost. It specifically does not apply to any of the optional items (eg Baby seats, Excess Reduction, Age Excess, Credit card fees, GPS etc)
  • The lowest price guarantee will not apply in cases where there are genuine errors or mistakes
  • Processing of Double the Difference Refunds may take up to 4 weeks from lodgement

How do I claim?

The process for making a Double the Difference claim is simple;
  • Complete your booking with the other website, if you have not already done so
  • Complete your booking with DriveNow
  • Email us at savemore@drivenow.com.au with the following details;
  • * Your DriveNow booking number or Confirmation email
    * The Supplier's booking number OR the confirmation details you have been given from the other website where you have completed your booking.
