The first thing to do is nominate a driver – maybe take it in turns if an overnight stay is planned. The next thing is to select your DriveNow rental vehicle. A roomy sedan or four-wheel drive might be handy, or why not pick up a campervan and have your accommodation sorted as well?
Those in Western Australia have the acclaimed Margaret River to explore. Pick up your Perth car rental and head about 280km south [...]

Campervan cruising down Great Ocean Road … with all the bells and whistles

THE refreshing breeze off Bells Beach blew through the back door of my campervan and I couldn’t help but smile with a big appreciation of another beautiful view.
After picking up my Melbourne campervan rental, the drive to the majestic Great Ocean Road was only about 112km from Melbourne. As rewarding as the drive was, the real bonus was about settling in for some great surfing in a beautiful setting along the coastline.
It was so easy to look down to the beach and watch the surfers running to the waves to compete in the Rip Curl Surf Pro at [...]

Check out beautiful Esperance on the south coast of Western Australia

FOR a lot of us who live on the east coast of Australia, Esperance in the west is just that little bit too far away. Being situated along the south coast of Western Australia, the only way to get there from the east is usually along the Nullabor and a great way to travel the Nullabor  is with a campervan rental, preferrably booked through DriveNow of course! And for those of you who have never done it, you don’t know what you are missing out on!
Esperance really is a remarkable place, full of surprises … good surprises, of course.
Did you [...]
